Corporate Affairs Minister Murli Deora on Thursday said the government will introduce the new companies bill in the monsoon session of the Parliament. Talking to reporters in New Delhi, he said the government will consider suggestions from major stake holders across the business community for implementation of Corporate Social Responsibility as a mandatory part of the draft bill. Mr. Deora also said that Government is committed to bring in a fair Merger and Acquisition Regime in the Country. He added that government will review the current Merger and Acquisition regulations in order to streamline the functioning of the industry in the new competition regime. He however said that mergers creating Monopolies or Abuse of Dominance in their specific sectors are unacceptable.
