Law Minister Salman Khurshid has said that the government will bring five new legislations in the winter session of Parliament to fight corruption.

Talking to media persons at the Women Press Club in New Delhi, Mr Khurshid reiterated government's commitment to bring an effective and strong Lokpal Bill. Mr. Khurshid also called for a well coordinated response by Executive and Judiciary for speeding up its delivery. About 14 thousand lower Courts are being set up in five years to reduce the pendency of cases.

Addressing the first meeting of the Advisory Council for Justice Delivery and legal reforms set up after setting up of the mission, Mr. Khurshid said that it is important to reduce the pendency of cases in the courts.
