Government will intensify efforts to provide required support to coal companies to achieve their targets. At a high level meeting in New Delhi, the Coal Ministry has proposed many innovative steps to increase the production. These include increase in the efficiency of equipments and a regular monitoring mechanism. Coal India Limited has also urged the ministry to resolve the issues of environmental and forestry clearances with Capacity addition for future projects.
