Govt to form panel to look into incomplete power projects in Sikkim

Union Power Ministry will constitute a high level committee to study various hydel projects which remain incomplete due to financial constrains in Sikkim. It will come out with concrete recommendations to be suggested to the State Government on taking these projects forward.

Our Gangtok correspondent, quoting the Sikkim Government sources, reports that the State had approached the Power Ministry for ensuring timely execution of incomplete Projects like the Teesta-stage 6, Rangit- stage-4 and Panan Hydro-Electric Projects.
