Union Home Minister today announced that a new reserve battalion will be raised and it will be named after Maharana Pratap. It will be called Maharana India Reserve Battalion. <br/><br/>Speaking on the occasion of Maharana Pratap birth anniversary in Gogunda in Udaipur district, Mr.Rajnath Singh said that a special scheme to modernize police is also underway. He said that counter terrorism strategy will also be evolved.<br/><br/>The Chief Minister of Rajasthan Vasundhara Raje was also present on the occasion. They collectively unveiled statue of Maharana Pratap in the ceremony.
