<br/> Government is implementing a flag ship programme to impart skill development to enhance the skills of 30 lakh employees engaged in textile sector for a period of 5 years. Smt. Panabaka Lakshmi, Union Minister of State for Textiles said that this training will be imparted through institutes from both public and private sectors. She was inaugurating the two-day Global India Textile Show at CODISSIA, Coimbatore in Tamil Nadu today. Shri R.Venkitachalam, Mayor of Coimbatore also spoke on the occasion.
