Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Omar Abdullah today said that the Government will continue its endeavour to meet the aspirations of the people of the State despite all odds. He expressed the hope that common masses will extend their sincere co-operation to put the State back on the track of progress and development. The Chief Minister was interacting with a cross-section of people including representatives of various political, social and religious organisations during his day long tour of twin border districts of Rajouri and Poonch today.AIR Correspondent reports that Omar Abdullah said that his Government was making every effort to create a congenial atmosphere for an era of peace and progress. He said that it needs cooperation of the people as certain elements in the State were creating hurdles in taking forwards its people friendly policies in an effective manner. He, however said that the Government will continue to embark on its agenda of peace and progress to achieve its cherished goals and asked people to extend their cooperation to frustrate the designs of those who have developed vested interest in keeping the State in a state of uncertainty and turmoil. Omar asked the people not to fall prey to the designs of nefarious elements.
