The government has undertaken a special project to connect all the border posts along the India-China border with roads. This was stated by Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh while reviewing the operational preparedness of a forward Indo-Tibetan Border Police (ITBP) Border Out Post at Nelong in Uttarakhand yesterday. Mr Singh said, while a number of border posts had already been connected with roads, many more would be linked soon.<br/>'<br/>The Home Minister ringed in the New year with the troops of the ITBP at the border post located at a height of over 11,600 feet where the mercury dropped to minus 20 degrees Celsius.<br/>'<br/>The Home Minister also addressed a Sainik Sabha and lauded the ITBP personnel for their dedicated service in tough high altitude sub-zero conditions. He said, his Ministry is aware of the services rendered by the ITBP personnel in difficult circumstances and is trying to extend all possible support to them.<br/>
