Government has decided to undertake a survey to take stock of developments in the powerloom industry in the northern region of the country. In a statement, the Textile Ministry has appealed to the textile units in the northern region and other stakeholders to help the survey agency in getting the data. The data will be utilised by the government for giving shape to developmental policy for strengthening the powerloom industry in the future.
