Government will come up with a new regulatory framework for the Telecom operators in the country. Addressing a seminar in New Delhi, Telecom Minister Kapil Sibal said that optimum regulation is necessary to strike a balance among the different stake-holders of the industry.

Emphasizing on the need for the industry to be more customer friendly he added that operator's policies should be transparent. Mr. Sibal stressed that Private players of the Telecom industry should transfer the profits in the infrastructure sector to accelerate its growth.

The minister also asserted that the new framework will pave the way for the new Telecom revolution in the country.
