Congress has said that the Government is holding elaborate discussions with various stakeholders to bring in strong and effective Lokpal Bill in the winter session of Parliament.

Briefing reporters in New Delhi on Thursday Party spokesman Abhishek Manu Singhvi said that the discussions are moving in the right direction.

Mr Singhvi is also the chairman of the Parliamentary Standing Committee looking into the Lokpal Bill. He said that the committee will hold further discussions with the members of Team Anna in the first week of next month.
