Government will bring a model bill for conservation of ground water in the country. <br/><br/>Addressing media in New Delhi on Saturday, Water Resources Minister Uma Bharti said the Bill will have necessary provisions of rain water harvesting.<br/><br/>Ms Bharti said it will focus on conservation of ground, surface and rain water.<br/><br/>She said the centre will keep in mind the fact that water is a state subject and will bring such a legislation on which states would have no objections.<br/><br/>The Minister also talked about the 4th edition of India water week to be organized between 4th to 8th of this month in New Delhi. <br/><br/>She said this year Israel will be the partner country and India will try to learn from its experience in efficient management of water resources. <br/><br/>Many reputed national and international organizations, research institutes and NGOs from water resources sector will participate in the event.<br/><br/>The theme of this year event is- "Water for all Striving together".
