The government intends to bring the revised Food Security Bill in the coming session of Parliament. Food Minister K V Thomas today said, it is a historic and path breaking Bill as it will ensure food security to the people. He was holding consultations with the Food Ministers of States in New Delhi on the recommendation of the standing committee of Parliament on the Bill. Prof. Thomas said that the government has to finalize view on the recommendation early to give a final shape to the Bill.
