Government will achieve fiscal deficit target of 4.1 per cent for 2014-15. Sources in the Finance Ministry said the government is on its way to achieve the target. The Economic Survey tabled in Parliament had termed it a daunting task. Government has set fiscal deficit target for the 2015-16 at 3.9 percent of gross domestic product. Fiscal deficit is the gap between government expenditure and revenue.
