Ministry of Home Affairs has termed a social media post misleading and malicious related to Indo-Tibetan Border Police’s report on Chinese transgression at LAC. The Ministry said social media post is misleading, malicious, and ill motivated on the sensitive issue of national security. In a social media post, the Ministry clarified that ITBP has not submitted any such internal report to MHA.

In the misleading social media post, it is claimed that ITBP has sent a report to the government that there are 19 places on the LAC that could witness transgression by the Chinese army once snow starts melting during summer.
