Government today said that it is eyeing an ambitious target of completing 20 kilometer of road construction per day, totaling 7 thousand kilometer per annum. Speaking at a national Seminar on Concrete Highway Projects in the national capital, Minister of Road Transport Mr. Kamal Nath said that country needs world-class roads and construction of concrete roads would be preferred in this project. The minister also said that concrete roads will suit the different geographical conditions of country.
