Home Minister Rajanth Singh today said, the government is taking all possible measures to curb the menace of cyber crimes. Replying to supplementaries in the Lok Sabha, Mr Singh said, the government constituted expert group on cyber crime has submitted its report and the government's action is based on this report. <br/><br/>Mr Singh said, shortcomings in the existing mechanism to tackle cyber crimes are being plugged in. Earlier, Minister of State for Home , Kiren Rijiju said ninety thousand police personnel have been trained to deal with new threat of internet crimes. Stating that various terrorist groups are misusing social media platforms, the Minister said, effective steps have been taken to check it.
