Finance Minister Arun Jaitley has said, the government has taken several steps to curb black money and corruption since the NDA came to power in 2014.<br/><br/> Intervening in the debate on the Motion of Thanks on the President's address in the Rajya Sabha today, he said, the government has reviewed the double taxation avoidance treaties with Mauritius, Singapore, Cyprus to curb the tax evasion. <br/><br/>He said, the cash circulation facilitates corruption, generation of black money and several other economic vices. Mr Jaitley also said, the digital transaction through various modes are gathering pace post- demonetisation.
