Information and Broadcasting Minister Venkaiah Naidu has said that the government has taken several measures to curb black money, tax evasion and corruption. <br/><br/>Briefing media in New Delhi this evening, Mr Naidu said NDA government has been clear about its agenda since the beginning, and asserted that it brought transparency in the system. He said it is unfortunate that some leaders are making political comments whereas the entire country is happy with government's decision to demonetise 500 and 1000 rupees notes. <br/><br/>Mr Naidu said, apart from curbing corruption, yesterday's decision will bring down inflation, diminish parallel economy and be a setback for arms dealers. The Minister said, Prime Minister Narendra Modi has laid thrust on financial inclusion and social security through schemes like Jan Dhan Yojana.
