The government today said, it has taken all steps to tackle bird flu menace, now spread in different parts of the country. Responding to a Zero Hour mention by a member in the Rajya Sabha, Health Minister J P Nadda assured the members that the spread of bird flu through migratory birds is a serious issue. He said the government will send a team of doctors from National Climatic Data Centre and Central Research Institute, Kasauli, to investigate the matter. The Minister said the government will ensure the availability of preventive medicines in the remote areas of Kerala and neighbouring states.
