<span style="color: #222222;">Government has taken note of a media report about predatory journals that claim to be international and publish papers for a listed charge or fee. </span><br />'' <br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">Replying to supplementaries in the Lok Sabha on Monday, HRD Minister Prakash Javadekar said, the government will rectify the things related to such journals. </span><br />'' <br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">He said, the Ministry will review the list of journals in the next three months.</span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">Recently, an English daily had published reports that India has the biggest markets for a business in which over 300 publishers manage what are called predatory journals.</span><br />'' <br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">The Minister said, the Standing Committee of UGC on notification of journals has been constituted which, after due verification, has removed 4,102 substandard journals.</span><br />''  <br />
