The government today said the Income Tax authorities have started the process of verification regarding black money stashed in tax havens by Indians. Giving this information in a written reply in the Lok Sabha today, Finance Minister P Chidambaram said the government has taken note of the information quoting the report of International Consortium of Investigative Journalists (ICIJ). Mr Chidambaram said appropriate action in accordance with the law will be taken against those found guilty.
