Govt soon to decide on measures to tackle naxalite menace

Defence Minister Mr. A. K. Antony has said that the government would decide soon on the measures to tackle the menace of naxalite movement. He was speaking to the reporters on the occasion of National Defence Academy’s Passing out Parade in Pune on Monday. <br/> <br/>Mr. Antony reviewed the parade of the 118th Course of NDA. In his address, he said that in future success in operations would depend on inter-service symbiotic planning and preparation and synergic execution of plans. He further said that Indian Armed forces today are in the midst of a revolution in military affairs. This process encapsulates induction of new aircraft, ships, sensors, weapons, communication equipment, air defence weapons and command and control equipment to name a few. <br/> <br/>He advised the cadets of NDA to follow the values of courage, camaraderie, integrity, honesty, and efficiency for a good leadership. Cadets Ashok Varma has bagged gold; R. Shekhar has received silver and Prashant Shinde has received bronze medals at the hands of defence minister.<br/>
