The government has said that it has set up several institutional mechanisms to prevent imports of Chinese products which unfairly affect micro and small enterprises.

The Minister of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises, Mr Virbhadra Singh said in a written reply in the Lok Sabha today that the Government has referred the concerns of the Small Scale Industries Association on the issue of imports of Chinese products to the Director General of Anti Dumping and allied duties for examination.

He said that his ministry is committed to protect the micro and small enterprises from facing unfair competitions from such imports
