Minister of state for Information and Broadcasting Col Rajyavardhan Rathore today said Government will remove restrictions on film-makers and will ease film certification process based on recommendation given by Shyam Benegal Committee. Addressing CII Big Picture Summit in New Delhi, Mr. Rathore said his ministry has set up a fund to help Indian film-makers to make path breaking films and compete in film festivals. <br/><br/>He said the way news is being twisted by private channels to boost TRPs is a matter of concern. The Minister said currently online news channels are not under Information and Broadcasting Ministry's ambit, but it is an area of concern. He said application process for TV channel licensing has been streamlined and made online to avoid delay.
