Government has set up a four-member panel of secretaries from different ministries to work out a new gas pricing mechanism. Additional secretary in oil ministry, secretary of expenditure in the Finance ministry and Power and Fertilizer secretaries will be the part of the panel. The first meeting of the panel will be held on Monday. During the meeting it will hold consultations with major stakeholders to re-examine comprehensively the gas pricing issue.
