<span style="color: #222222;">The government has set a target to open one thousand Khelo India Centres to promote sporting culture across the country. Replying to supplementaries in the Rajya Sabha today, Minister of State for Sports and Youth Affairs, Nisith Pramanik said, the government is working to complete the target by 2024. He said, over two thousand crore rupees worth of projects has been initiated to build the sports infrastructure in the country. Appreciating the Target Olympic Podium Scheme, the Minister said, assistance related to coaches, health facilities, and sports equipment have been provided to the sportsperson to better equip them for the international sporting events under this scheme.</span><br />
