Government has set a target of achieving 12 percent growth in tourism sector by 2016. The growth will help to generate 25 million additional jobs in the country. This was stated by Tourism Minister, Subodh Kant Sahai while inaugurating the Indian Pavilion in tourism fair in Berlin. Mr. Sahai said an Inter Ministerial Coordination Committee has been set up for speedy growth of tourism sector.
