President Pranab Mukherjee today said, government service is one of the most rewarding and satisfying experiences for people who want to make a direct impact on the various challenges India is facing today.<br/><br/>Addressing a group of officer trainees of Central Engineering Service (Civil) and Central Electrical and Mechanical Engineering Service who came to meet him at Rashtrapati Bhavan, Mr Mukherjee praised the work done by Central Public Works Department (CPWD). He said, CPWD has executed various projects very efficiently and effectively within the time frame. He further stated, CPWD is one of the oldest departments in the country and its existence is visible throughout the length and breadth of the country.
