Center has sought a report from Delhi Police on the Patiala House court incident. Talking to reporters in New Delhi today, Home Secretary Rajiv Mehrishi said that he has spoken to Police Commissioner B S Bassi and asked him to send a detailed report on today's incident. He said the action will be taken against those indulged in violence. <br/><br/>His comments came hours after a group of lawyers allegedly assaulted journalists and JNU student leader Kanhaiya Kumar when he was being produced at the Patiala House court in sedition case. <br/><br/>Replying to a question over earlier attack on media persons on Monday, Mr. Mehrishi said two FIRs have been registered in this connection and investigation is on.<br/><br/>Yesterday, some journalists hit the streets demanding action against those involved in beating up members of their fraternity in the court complex.
