Government today raised AgustaWestland VVIP chopper scam to target Congress and sought a discussion on it in Parliament. Echoing similar view, Parliamentary Affairs Minister Ananth Kumar also pressed for discussion on the issue saying the bribe takers should be exposed. He said, the government is ready for discussion on any issue.

Meanwhile, former Defence Minister A K Antony has said Congress President Sonia Gandhi had no role in the chopper deal. Talking to reporters outside Parliament, Mr. Antony said, the driving force behind the deal was Indian Air Force.

He said, the ruling BJP will be, what he called, a laughing stock by dragging the name of Ms. Gandhi in to it.
