<span style="color: #222222;">The Government today said that 1.85 lakh persons have been offered work in May this year under Mahatma Gandhi National Rural Employment Guarantee Act, MGNREGA despite COVID-19 pandemic. The work offered is 52 per cent higher in comparison to May 2019. The Rural Development Ministry said, the government has ensured that the development works across the country should not be affected due to the 2nd wave of COVID-19.
