Govt says, total of 1,14,24,094 doses administered so far

<span style="color: black;">The Union Government </span><span style="color: #222222;">has said that a total of 1,14,24,094 doses have been administered till 6 p.m. today. Addressing the media in New Delhi, Additional Secretary in the Health Ministry, Manohar Agnani said, vaccination for health care workers is 75,40,602, including 1st dose to over 64 lakh and second dose to over 11 lakh.</span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">       </span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">A total of 38,83,492 frontline workers have been covered with the first dose. Total vaccinations done today are 3,07,238.</span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;"> </span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">There are four States and UTs which include Lakshadweep, Gujarat, Madhya Pradesh and Rajasthan which have done more than 75 per cent coverage of health care workers and frontline workers in terms of the first dose. In addition to these four, there are 8 states which have done more than 75 per cent coverage of health care workers – Bihar, Tripura, Odisha, Chhattisgarh, Uttarakhand, Jharkhand, Uttar Pradesh and Himachal Pradesh. </span><br />'' <br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">Four states have done less than 50 per cent coverage of health care workers for the first dose. These are – Nagaland, Punjab, Chandigarh and Puducherry. Maximum numbers of doses have been administered today in Uttar Pradesh followed by Karnataka, West Bengal, Maharashtra and Bihar.</span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;"> </span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">The Ministry informed that 46 people have been hospitalized after the vaccination and 41 deaths have been reported so far.</span><br />''  <br />
