Government today said, there is a declining trend in the levels of pollutants indicating an improvement in air quality in Delhi and NCR. It is expected that this trend will continue and air quality will improve further. <br/><br/>In a statement, Environment Minister Dr. Harsh Vardhan said, present air quality in Delhi NCR has been in the Severe Plus category due to adverse weather conditions caused by western disturbances, stubble burning and high levels of relative humidity. <br/><br/>According to Central Control Room for Air Quality Management, there has been a decline in PM10 values – from yesterday's 712 to 549 micrograms per cubic meter and decline in PM2.5 levels from 480 to 372 micrograms at 6 PM today in the national capital region.
