Government today said it is promoting digital and cashless economy as well as digi dhan melas across the country. Talking to media after BJP Parliamentary Party meeting in New Delhi, Parliamentary Affairs Minister Ananth Kumar said, a large number of people have been participating in the digi dhan mela which clearly shows people's support to demonetisation. He hoped that the first part of the ongoing budget session will be fruitful and smooth. During the meeting, it was also decided that MPs will inform public about the benefits of general budget.
