The acceptability of the scheme has increased amongst the farmers in the last six years.<br />''<br />''The share of non-loanee farmers, marginalized farmers and small farmers increased by 282 percent since the initiation of the scheme in 2016. In the last six years, &nbsp;over 25 thousand crore rupees have been paid by farmers as the premium, wherein over one lakh 25 thousand crore rupees have been paid to the farmers against their claims as on October &nbsp;this year.<br />''<br />''The Agriculture Ministry rejected media reports that farmers are getting a paltry sum of insurance claims in some districts of Maharashtra.
