The government has ruled out import of wheat. Talking to newspersons on the sideline of a conference in New Delhi on Tuesday, the Commerce and Industry Minister, Mr. Anand Sharma said that there are enough stocks of wheat in the country. On import of rice, Mr. Sharma said that the country is securing rice through government-to-government contract from countries like Vietnam and Thailand.
