The government today said that there is no question of cancellation of licences of Coal block allocation as it was done according to the rules. Talking to reporters outside Parliament, Parliamentary Affairs Minster Pawan Kumar Bansal said Inter Ministerial Committee is looking in to the matter and will submit its report by the 15th of this month.

The Minister said that the BJP should allow functioning of Parliament.
The Coal Minister Sri Prakash Jaiswal today ruled out further probe into coal blocks allocation issue. Talking to reporters outside Parliament, he said there was no need for any probe as the CBI and an inter-ministerial group are looking into the matter separately. He said the government will wait for the reports before taking anydecision.
