Union Home Secretary, Mr GK Pillai, today ruled out aerial attack on the Maoists. Briefing newsmen at Bhubaneswar, he said Maoists, of late, have been making soft targets like blowing up telephone towers, railway stations and panchayat buildings.<br/>Citing last night horror act by Maoists where they blew up railway tracks in Jharkhand leading to derailment of Tata-Bilaspur passenger, Mr Pillai said the Centre has no sympathy towards Maoists who are targeting unarmed civilians. He said there is no difference between terrorist organisations and CPI (Maoists).<br/>The Union Home Secretary also said Maoists in the country are getting arms and ammunitions from neighbouring countries including China, Myanmar and Bangladesh. He said the Centre’s main strategy is to restore civil administration and provide roads, medical facilities to all parts of the country as one of the measure to counter Maoist activities.<br/>
