Govt revives 1150 posts in Prasar Bharti in first phase

Government has revived 1150 posts in Prasar Bharti in the first phase against 3452 essential category of posts. The proposal for the second phase has already been moved.

The vacancies have been notified in various categories pertaining to engineering, programme and administration.

The Public service broadcaster had a severe human resource crunch and the revival has taken place after 15 years with the efforts of its chief executive officer Jawahar Sircar.

In a statement, member personnel of Prasar Bharti VAM Hussain said that efforts are on in a mission mode to revive remaining vacancies. He said such posts were originally available but lost or surrendered due to various reasons.
