The government today revised the Minimum Support Price for paddy from 950 rupees a quintal to 1000 rupees. A decision to this effect was taken in the cabinet committee on prices. <br/><br/>Briefing reporters, the Home minister Mr P Chidambaram announced a whopping increase of over 1000 rupees in the MSP of moong. It has been now fixed at three thousand one hundred seventy rupees a quintal.<br/>
