Government has said that there is no confirmed or suspected case of Ebola virus disease in the country. Talking exclusively to AIR, Health Minister Dr Harsh Vardhan said, all preventive measures are in place to deal with the disease. Mr Vardhan said, there is no need to panic.
Our Correspondent adds that more than four thousand people have succumbed to the disease. India has contributed 10 million dollar to the UN chief's Fund for Ebola and an additional two million dollar for purchase of protective gear to tackle the deadly disease.
