Defence Minister Manohar Parrikar said Government is reviewing all aspects of One Rank One Pension OROP scheme and best interests of Armed forces will be taken into consideration. <br/><br/>In a interview to private TV channel, Mr. Parrikar said the government wants to differentiate between voluntary retirement for better prospects and premature retirement in the interest of the Army. He added that a judicial commission is looking into the issue of premature retirement.<br/><br/>On Pathankot airbase terror attack case, Mr. Parrikar said security at the airbase had gaps and there were six terrorists, not four. <br/><br/>He said local laborers might have helped the terrorists. He made it clear that Pakistan SIT will not be allowed to visit the airbase. The Defence Minister also said he is hurt by US decision to sell F-16 fighter jets to Pakistan.
