Government has rescued three Indian girls from Kenya. In a tweet, External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj said, the girls were victims of an organised crime syndicate that indulged in trafficking of girls. <br/><br/><br/>Mrs Swaraj said, seven Nepalese girls were also rescued. She said, their Passports and phones were taken and they were held captive in Mombasa city. <br/><br/><br/>The Minister said, New Delhi has flown the girls back to India and the details have been shared with Punjab so that a case can be registered against the agents and the people involved. Mrs Swaraj also appreciated the efforts of Indian High Commissioner in Kenya Suchitra Durai adding that first Secretary Karan Yadav deserved a special mention. Mrs Swaraj also thanked the Kenyan Police for their help.
