Ministry of Water Resources, River Development and Ganga Rejuvenation has released Rs 315 crore for construction of toilets along the Ganga river.The amount has been released to Ministry of Drinking Water and Sanitation for the implementation of Ganga action plan under Swachh Bharat Mission (Gramin) during current financial year.An official release said, Water Resources Ministry had sanctioned 263 crore rupees for construction of toiltets during last fiscal.So far, 14 thousand and five hundred toilets have been constructed under this scheme.
