The government has released the 2nd installment of central share worth of 16 .5 crore rupees for the implementation of Swarnjayanti Gram Swarojgar Yojana (SGSY) during this fiscal in the states of Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Uttarakhand and Manipur.<br/><br/>According to the Ministry of Rural Development, nearly 9.5 crore rupees have been released to the 9 districts of Madhya Pradesh, two each districts of Chhattisgarh and Uttarakhand received 4 crore and 2 crore rupees respectively.<br/><br/>Around one crore rupees has been released to the three districts of Manipur.The objective of the SGSY is to bring the assisted poor families (Swarozgaries) above the Poverty Line by ensuring appreciable sustained level of income over a period of time.<br/>
