Centre has released 118 crore rupees for farm mechanization for the year 2016-17. Releasing a coffee table book " Farm Mechanization for Make in India' in New Delhi today, Agriculture Minister Radha Mohan singh said, farm mechanization has become an important part of crop production, processing and transport. <br/><br/>He said that food safety, rural employment and soil conservation and bio-diversity production are essential for sustainable technology and total rural development. <br/><br/>Mr Singh said, sustainable development of agriculture is required for increase in rural income, doubling the income of farmers and farm mechanization plays an important role in it.
