<span style="color: #222222;">The Health and Family Welfare Ministry has refuted the media reports wherein it was alleged that Centre has not placed any fresh order for procurement of Covid vaccines.</span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">&nbsp;</span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">The Ministry has termed these media reports completely incorrect saying that these are not based on facts.</span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">&nbsp;</span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">Giving the details of vaccine procurement, the Ministry has said that advance payment of Rs. 1732 crore was released to Serum Institute of India last week for procurement of 11 crore doses of Covishield vaccine for the three months.</span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">&nbsp;</span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">It said, against the last order of 10 crore doses of Covishield vaccine, over eight crore 74 lakh doses have been delivered so far.</span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">&nbsp;</span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">The Ministry further said that advance payment of over 787 crore rupees was released to Bharat Biotech India Limited last week for procurement of five crore doses of Covaxin vaccine for the three months.</span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">&nbsp;</span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">It said, against the last order of two crore doses for supplies of Covaxin vaccine, over 88 lakh doses have been delivered so far.</span><br />'' <b><span style="color: #222222;">&nbsp;</span></b><br />'' &nbsp;<br />
