Government today reiterated that discussion and debate is the only way to resolve the 2G Spectrum issue in the Parliament. Talking to reporters in New Delhi today, Senior Congress leader and Union Minister Anand Sharma charged Opposition of disrupting Parliamentary proceedings in the winter session by sticking to its demand for a JPC Probe in the 2G Spectrum case. Terming Prime Minister's offer to appear in front of the Parliament's Public Accounts Committee as unprecedented, Mr Sharma said that the Government was transparent and clear on the issue. He expressed hope that the Opposition will accept Finance Minister Pranab Mukherjee's offer to hold a special session of Parliament before the budget session to discuss the issue.
