The government has realised over 23,497 crore rupees from disinvestment as on the 15th of this month. In the current financial year, the budget estimate for disinvestment is 56,500 crore rupees . Giving this information in the Rajya Sabha today, Finance Minister Arun Jaitley said the government has identified some central public enterprises for sale in sectors like mineral and metal, oil and capital goods.
